Images above - Sand blasted plywood
Left photo above - The piece of wood on the left is sand blasted and on the right is normal. It is hard to tell the difference between the two without a closer look.
Right photo above - 45 degree angle cut on each conner. Then the wood can be glued together.
Left photo - Black ink on plywood with a shadow cast on it(done like the image on the right.)
